2 way radios

Does anyone have some advice as to what type of 2 way radio (walkie-talkies) work best at WDW? Any problems reaching from park to park?

We didn't have much luck park to park. If we were in the same park, they worked fair, allot of interference. We used Radio Shack with programable frequences, but still had problems. Many other users on the same frequencies. We resorted to using our cell phones, but make sure you have a mobile to mobile FREE plan. otherwise it get expensive....Good Luck

We have nice Motorolla radios that my husband uses for hunting but we found in WDW they never really worked well. We used them on several trips but picked up inference from other people or could not get through at all. We now use our cell phones. We have the free mobile to mobile and it works really well.

I don't think 2 way radios will work good for Park to Park.

The Direct Connect from cell phones will work (Nextel, Cingular, etc) but regular 2 way radios. They mainly work from within the park itself. Most only do a certain mile radius and MK and Epcot are 2 that are really close.
