2 Universal Buses Destroyed Fire

I hope there weren’t any passengers on board. I have been on an overcrowded theme park bus occasionally and wondered how an evacuation would be organized, especially if there are guests in wheelchairs or ECVs. I’m sure they have procedures in place but you can’t always count on guests to act as you expect.

Organization if a fire is ripping through a bus? We are talking America, not Japan. Passengers would open the nearest thing that could be made into an exit and shove right through.

Had to doublecheck bc I was pretty sure this wasn’t the first time an incident like this happened this year but last time it was a Mears bus. Still weird.

There was another one a few months back at universal as well...

It was a Mears bus - but going to Stella - you see a fair number of Mears buses on property when its busy - I assume they bring them in to supplement

The bus depot charging depot is near the front of EPIC. I think Mears runs Universal buses.

Does anyone know if the February incident was shortly after the bus was charged?
