I was re-reading the Orlando Sentinel article concerning Disney’s changing of the name “Kingdom Tower” to “Bay Lake Tower”. The article is suggesting that Disney has changed the name of the project. Maybe something was left out of the article, but I think it is possible that these are two separate projects.
The current tower is closer to the MK, thus, Kingdom Tower. The Bay Lake Tower could be built on the site of the south wing. It would have a feature view of Bay Lake. Maybe Disney has applied for two new DVC resorts at the Contemporary.

If someone knows more about the permits and contracts for this project, please chime in.

okay now confused.

though the south wing would go to CR and be suites for the convention area.

Guess this plan changed?

Well, since Disney has never announced anything, I suspect whatever you read is just more speculation. Of course we're just speculating here, but it only makes sense to eventually have to identical buildings flanking the original tower.

IMHO, if Disney doesn't want to put suites in the north wing, I can't see them putting suites in an identical structure to the south. Additionally, building 600-800 DVC rooms in those two towers would probably give them sufficient inventory to rent via CRO with the trade-outs and such.

As for the original post, in addition to what others have said it is far too early to file for a business license on a future south-side DVC tower. The license application alone requires dozens-of-pages of documentation on the structure.
