2 things - WWYD?: 1)drive or bus to Epcot early entry 2)lunch at Springs

For the first time ever in close to 20 trips, we will have a rental car on property. On arrival day we stay at WL. Next day we check out and go to Epcot, then check into ASMU for the remainder of our stay.

1. Should we drive or take the Bus to Epcot early entry? We can either take the bus from WL to Epcot early entry and come back to move our car later, or we just drive our car to Epcot.

• If we drive, what time should we leave WL? I know it's recommended to be at the bus stop 90 min before early entry. I don't know what time cars are allowed to line up for Epcot parking. I think I saw the lot opens one hour prior to early entry. Does this put us behind guests arriving by bus?

2. We have a lunch ADR at Disney Springs on our Epcot day. If we drive to Epcot, we will just drive to the ADR. If we take the bus, we'll have to walk to BI or BC to catch a Disney Springs bus. Is the BI or BC bus stop a closer walk from Epcot International Gateway? Any idea on how long the walk takes?

We're local and drive to Epcot 5-6 times per year; we also have DVC points and sometimes go for early entry if we're staying over at a resort. We drove this past Friday, got to the parking lot at about 8:25 and waited for one car to clear the booth ahead of us in our lane, were directed to the third row in the section of the parking lot they were filling at that time, went through Security (no wait) and the touchpoints (approx. 5 minutes), and waited about 15 minutes in front of Spaceship Earth before the 9am rope drop. This has been pretty typical for our visits in the last few months. We would have been on Soarin' by about 9:15 but they had technical problems and were only loading one theater so our wait was about 40 minutes. For early entry I'd leave WL around 8:00 and you should get a good space and easily get inside before 8:30. If you take the bus, leave at 7:45 or so; even if you just miss a bus you will probably be there by 8:30.
