There are 7 of us going. We could do 2 studios for 28 points a day or a 2 br for 41 points. Trying to weigh points vs amenities. We don't really cook but like the fridge.

I sold a contract so only have 150 PTS a year. So I want to save enough to go to hhi or ails I the following year.

How many adults/children? Which resort?

Honestly, I'd rather a 2BR for this situation. The 2 studios will get you a combined 718 square feet while the 2BR is 1071. You'd all be together in a 2BR...keep in mind the studios can be far apart and with just 2 adults, that means that one will be in each studio. So if it's a husband and wife...that might stink (not to be in the same room). But that point difference is a big draw to doing the 2 studios.

Are there connecting studios a at all?

No. There are some right next to each other but no connecting door. The adults would have to split up.

I would go with the 2 bedroom. You would have the king master bedroom, large master bath, washer/dryer, full kitchen. The second bedroom would be a studio (with a separate entrance door), so a queen and a double pullout. You'll also have a queen pullout in the living room.

You may want to consider a dedicated 2 bedroom at one of the other resorts (none at BWV). The second bedroom would have 2 queens and there would not be a separate entrance in the second bedroom.

Assuming none of the kids are around 18 I would not do a studio. The idea of one adult sleeping in each room is not very appealing. I'd do the 2 BR or not at all even if it meant doing SSR, AKV standard or OKW instead. For BWV, the standard view can be relatively economical.

Other than possibly the Inn rooms for VB there are no connecting studios that I am aware of.

if the 7 ppl consisted of anything other than a single, immediate family, 2 studios would be fine.
there is the very real possibility that the group might be on separate floors, far away from one another - only a minor inconvenience with extended family and/or (adult) friends.
with parents and 5 kids, the 2 bdrm is a necessity, imho. the most important considerations are almost 50% more square footage, a washer/dryer, & being together (2 studios means 1 parent & children in each room - not very conducive to a "family vacation").
the in-room washer/dryer will help keep from over-packing, & you can save some money by having simple meals in the kitchen (we don't cook on vacation either, but use the full size freezer - the studio freezer is tiny).
while we enjoy studios as 2 ppl, i agree with the others: we would (only) go with a 2-bdrm (or larger) for a family of 7.
enjoy your planning :)
