In lieu of a one bedroom, I’m debating two studios next year - one to sleep my husband, 9 year old and myself and the other to sleep my two teens who’ll be 18 and 16. Has anyone done two studios? Did you get assigned ones close to each other? What if I did one lake and one theme park view to save points - they are across from each other right?

Not necessarily, due to the curve of the building. Some Lake view villas are on the same side of the hallway as the TP view villas on the north and south ends of the building (which is the reason for the recommendation to request an even numbered Lake view villa on the North side - some of those villas have partial TP views).

To have two villas close to each other, chat/email/call MS, give them both confirmation numbers, and ask for a “traveling with” notation to be placed on them. And make that your only request.

You are correct. I have done this and been accommodated but not a guarantee. It's my experience that Disney will do their best to allocate connecting rooms, or rooms nearby, provided the layout permits.

I'm not sure which is better to call- DVC Member Services or Disney Main line. I've experienced shorter wait times on Disney Main Line but that may be relative. I'll defer to the experts on the board.

Unfortunately, OP is contemplating booking 2 studios, and Poly and the new Resort studios at VGF are the only ones that can connect one studio to another studio. BLT studios connect to living rooms of 1BR villas, to make 2BR lock off villas.

DVC members need to contact DVC MS to make room requests for DVC points reservations. Cash guests can contact Disney Reservations to make requests regarding cash reservations for DVC villas.

Also Inn Rooms at Vero Beach :fish::blush:

I have had multiple rooms at BLT and asked to be close and we were different floors. We tried to change but they said they could not.

You can request it for sure but there is no guarantee so be sure you are okay if you are not.

I've traveled at least 6 times with family. We've had studios from across the hall to a few doors away to way down the hall to a different floor . You just never know.
