2 southwest questions...

1. We have boarding passes B2-7.. so does that mean we will be at the front of B line? Or it just means we are in the B line.. and where ever we get in line... thats where we stay? (Is what I mean.. do we line up in numerical order?)

2. I was looking on the website and it says they can charge and oversize bag fee (50 each way) for bags over 62 inches (l plus W plus H).

Our bag is like 65. It is a Chaps '29 in bag. Do you think I will get charged the extra fee (if it UNDER 50 pounds??)

I really don't want to pay a 100 fee.

You will line up in numerical order within your letter group. So, yes, you will be near the front of the B group. There should be a set of poles with the numbers on the top of them and you will line up where your numbers are displayed.

As far as the bag goes, you are likely to be charged the fee for an oversized bag if your bag is oversized. They do tend to be quite strict about that. If it is oversized AND overweight you would be charged fees for both.

If they measure it, yes. You might want to get a smaller bag.

I went to their website and read the item on checked baggage twice to make sure I read it correctly.

I would say that it clearly states that oversized items are considered above 62 inches but under 80 inches. They will be ACCEPTED, but will carry a charge of $50.00.
