So we're getting new strollers for WDW since we'll be going twice and rentals are so much. Our current double is a Phil & Teds E3V2. I love it but I don't want to bring it because it's too big. So I'm wondering if I should get 2 single strollers (thinking Volo's or Chicco's) or 1 double. Any suggestions?

It was so easy bringing 2 lightweight umbrella strollers. My DH and I never separated anyways, and were always together, one stroller each. Parking the Macs were easy, folding them was a breeze for tbe bus, small enough to wheel right on to the monorail too (if you take the express monorail to MK from the TTC, you can forget about pushing it right on...the lines for that monorail are mind boggling!)

last year we took 2 strollers it was good and bad. taking the babies out and putting down the strollers. We're taking a double stroller, this time it's a graco. we've already tried it out in area stores and it is slim enough to handle the aisles without getting stuck.

We bought 2 Mac Volos for our trip in 3 weeks.

I also hava a 2 & 4 year old. I sold our Joovy Caboose double stroller to get these. Double strollers are just too cumbersome for me, and I wanted my 4yo to be able ride & to sit properly and maybe catch a cat nap - not possible in the Caboose.

I did buy the stroller connectors (prince Lionhart makes them) I think they are awesome & could come in handy when we will need to split up on rides. They snap on/off soooo easily. I snapped them on & my DH took the kids for a spin & he liked them alot...& he's a tough sell...

Volos are so lightweight you just fold 'em & go. YOu really can sling them on your shoulder. On the bus they should be a dream. Our last trip we only had our DD & had a Graco travel system stroller & it was a nightmare. Too big!! Poor hubby hated it...

I'm in the same dilemma. We have a Chicco Capri and a Mac Quest.....or we could bring our Phil & Ted's Sport Buggy. We've brought the P&T before and it was fine. We're wondering if we should just do that again or bring the two singles. The only problem is if DH wanted to ride one of the bigger rides and I went off with the girls (ages 1 and 4). I could not push two strollers.

I just saw that one of the pp's posted about the stroller connectors. Wonder if that would work for two different brand of strollers, like we have? Probably not, huh?

Yes, they work on different types of strollers. I've used ours with a lightweight Baby trend and a regular umbrella stroller as well as another stroller I borrowed from MIL (I don't remember the brand) It was a good thing we connected those two because when walking even my feet (I'm 5') would kick the bottom of the other stroller from MIL (Husband just pushed ours and the other stayed with it). I love the connectors, you do have to try it in different areas to make sure the fit and manuverability(sp?) is the best

I went with 2 chico's on my trip last year. I would not even attempt in with my graco duo glide.

These ROCK! And only $13! Thanks for the tip!:thumbsup2

I am totally sold on the two MacLaren Volos too, they are much more ergonomical for us to push around for 7 days, and lightweight, too! I can't believe it is cheaper for me to buy two new strollers than to rent the Diseny ones (plus then I would only have them in the park...) I just have to decide which color we want! Although this blue one is the cheapest one I have found. The local sores sell them for about $120, Target for $100, but this one is $70? Hmmm....

So funny! I was about to post the same question! DD will be 4 and DS will just be 2. After reading the previous posts I'm thinking that a second umbrella stroller with the connectors is the way to go! Now I just have to find that second stroller!
