We are going to Disney in May. My DD will be 22 months old and her cousin will be 21 months. Should we rent 2 single city minis or 1 double?

The main thing to consider is will they be good together (i.e. not steal each other's toys, pacifiers, not wake each other up, etc.). The other thing is who will be responsible for each child. Will those people want to split up for any reason? If so, who is left caring for the children? If one person is left caring for the children, it is far easier to push 1 stroller rather than 2. It would most likely be cheaper to rent 1 stroller rather than 2 also. However, if using 2 single strollers, why not just bring the ones from home? They are "free" luggage on the airlines if flying.

If you have 3-4 adults going, I would say go with two single strollers. We have to travel with a double AND a single. The two kids in the double get in the occasional fight. One of them wants Mommy to push and the other Daddy. While Disney is very double stroller friendly there are still some areas where it is a tighter squeeze.

I have to agree with PP - it depends on the kids, whose going & how you are touring together. My twins are fine with each other in their double stroller but have not liked it when we have switched it up with other friends.

If you get a double stroller it will definitely easier. Just get one where one kid is in back of the other like ours the Kolcraft Contours Double Stroller. Then fighting is not an issue

I would get two single strollers in that situation b/c I wouldn't want to be forced to stay with the other couple and their kid all the time.

when it's just one family (like ours) with multiple kids, I prefer a double... even then DH and I split up now and then with the boys going to different rides- but with another couple? For sure would want to split up.
