We have ressies at POR June 1-11 for the 5 of us (DH, me, DD13, DD9 & DS9). But I'm now wondering if we would be better off in 2 rooms at POP. The difference would be about $600 (500 for the room + 100 for fridge @ 10/ni). I've been reading posts from people that stayed at POR that the trundle is SMALL. I think POR is a nicer resort & we will be taking breaks most days back at the hotel. I like the idea of the "quiet pools". Does POP have this?

I also like the idea of 2 bathrooms & more space. What would you do/have you done in the past? Thanks
Tracy

I believe POP has three pools. They are not "quiet" pools. The trundle beds in POR are small. It might be nice to have the extra space of two rooms at POP instead of crowding into a room at POR. Look into a frig swap on the Disboards to save the price of renting a refrigerator.

With your kids' ages, I'd go for two rooms. You'll get a lot more space and two bathrooms. More beds also. Maybe you could make do with a cooler instead of a fridge, as for $100 you could BUY one!

My advice would be to keep your reservations at POR. It is beautiful grounds, more pools etc than POP. Although you would have more space at POP with 2 rooms, the times I have been at POR, my sister (who was about 10 and over 5 feet tall!) slept in it and no problems. My dad even slept in it one night and wanted to sleep in it the rest of the trip, so go figure. :) I would say POP would be for quantity, space and 2 bathrooms, but POR would be for quality and would save you some money.

Hi
I think with 5 people, I would stay in two rooms at Pop. There were 6 of us last August and it was great, since my 3 nieces had their own room, tv and bathroom. Two rooms gave us more space and privacy. We had connecting rooms and had a free fridge, thanks to disneydaz and the fridge swap. Pop is a fun resort. We are staying at POFQ this year, since we wanted to try something new, but it's only my DD and DGD and myself. Have a great time!!
