2-room suite vs 2 separate rooms

My adult daughter (28 yo) and I are traveling with my parents (70+ yo) next year. Last time we went to WDW together we had a 2-room suite at SSR and it worked out well. I am having trouble finding a 2-room suite available during our dates for next year (11/14-11/21/20-not sure I even know what hotels all offer it) and wondered how many of you choose to book 2 separate rooms for an all adult group. I don't mind booking at a value resort (my daughter and I stayed at POP in Feb). What hotels have 2-room suites (with a master king or queen and a 2-queen second room) Average price difference for 1 room vs two?

The resorts with the 2-bedroom units are called DVC, which is Disney's timeshare property. Some are stand alone like SSR and some are part of other resorts like at the Poly or Animal Kingdom Lodge. There are multiple room suites in all of the deluxe hotels but there are very expensive so I don't think you're referring to those since you mention SSR. Since SSR is a DVC property the cash rooms aren't appearing yet for 11-20. They will appear for booking around the 7 month window. They aren't sold out at all. Just not listed to the public yet.

The above mentions renting cash DVC rooms directly from Disney. You can also rent DVC rooms from DVC owners starting at 11 months from your check-in date. That's a another topic unto itself.

Thanks so much. That makes sense then. Thought I had just missed out already!

Suites and villas are two very different things at WDW. Villas are found in Disney Vacation Club resorts (Disney’s timeshare). A 2 bedroom villa will have a washer/dryer, full kitchen, and possibly a jetted tub. There will be a king in the master bedroom and two queens or a queen and a sofa bed in the second bedroom.

2 bedroom suites come with club level access and are in the deluxe-level resorts and CSR. There will not be a washer/dryer or a full kitchen. Bed configuration will vary depending on the resort and suite type.

Another point of clarification. Do you want 2 bedrooms and a living area with a kitchen, one bedroom with sleeping furniture in the living room or two bedrooms connected to each other?
