2 resorts on the ddp

anyone booked 2 nights at one resort and 2 or 1 at another?
I want to try CR caste view, but 3 nights is a lot pricewise when compared with the 3 nights I already booked at CSR, so was thinking of maybe splitting it 2 nights at one and 1-2 at the other

Don't forget to get the DDP you'll need to buy base tickets at EACH resort you stay at. (If you want it for ALL days of your stay)

I'm thinking about going the last week of August and trying for the free dining package. So, it's really difficult finding 1 resort for my full 6 nights.

The option I'm looking at is 4 nights at 1 resort with DDP and 2 nights elsewhere, room only, AAA discount. I think I'll go for a Value resort for the 2 nights on AAA and then find the best deal for a deluxe. I'm finding the pickings are slim

I don't know your exact dates, but A26-S1 has openings at both Port Orleans and Carribean with 7 day base for two adults at $1529.60.

I think for free dining you must stay 3 nights, but to buy it you don't.....I just made a quick weekend trip and stayed 2 nights and bought the ddp.

Did you stay of DVC points? For DVC members/guests you don't need a minimum stay. They may have changed it recently but typically the general public had to purchase a minimum 3 night MYW package in order to get the DDP. If they did change it that makes it better for short trips

I would have 3-4 nights, just not the same resort.

Well I just pulled up the following on disneyworld.com package reservations -

Notice it is one night and includes the ddp (204.16) and this cut/paste is from the page where you click book now and enter your email etc. So that means as we were saying free dining requires 3 nights but purchased dining you can have just one. Just wanted to be sure myself what exactly was being said here.

Stayed with good old cash. Two nights at WL and 3 day hopper tickets ad added the ddp. This was just the beginning of April so not sure what it used to be or when it changed...but that's what is was. Never really thought of this since all of my previous trips and hopefully all future trips were significantly longer than a weekend.
