We are going to WDW in September with our kids, 3 and 1. This is the first time we are taking them to the park, Magic Kingdom, one day only.

First question: Is it easier to deal with a double stroller or two single strollers?

I have the Kolcraft side by side, that I love for the airport. Two single strollers will be a pain to deal with along with luggage, but if a double is too hard to push around the park, I could bring two.

Recommendations? I know this has been covered but I didn't see exactly what I was looking for.

I am definitely bringing stroller(s) from home and we are renting a car.

Second question: We want to take my son for a "first haircut" at the MK barber shop. Any tips?

Thanks!

Heather

Foro two kids, I'd use a double rather than 2 singles; you only have one to keep track of, and they do get moved around by CM's during rides/shows, and they can be hard to find sometimes.
We've never had a problem getting around with the double, and there seems to be more space inside, especially if the kids fall asleep.

Never been for a haircut, but we're thinking of it for this trip.

We did the first haircut for DS and are planning on doing it again for DD on our next trip. Go Early!!! Now that alot of people know about it, the barbershop gets crowded fast. DS is now almost 5 and he gets his haircut there every trip (We go at least once a year) Try to go on the early entry day if you are staying on Disney property, they open about 1/2 hour before the rest of the park opens to the public.

Definately bring a video camera! They do a great job of making the haircut fun!

If its at all possible I would recommend you get the front and back rather than side by side double stroller. They are much easier to push through the stores and crowds and the double wide might be almost impossible to get on the busses, boats or monorail. Used a front and back Graco with very few problems one year. Good luck.
