2 questions,room & verandah

We are on the May 23, 2004 4-day Wonder, family of 5, first cruise.
We are in room 8028--wondering about this room, sea sick, noise, location.
Also the veranda, is it solid or plexiglass. Thanks

Seas in May and June are normally really calm. We have done the 7 day for the last 3 years in late May or early June and seas were so calm it was like a lake.
