2 questions regarding segway tours

I happened to call Disney reservations yesturday and mentioned to the CM about the Segway tour first thing in the morning and having to be inside the park before it opens and not being able to use the IG because we are staying at BCV. She was very glad that I asked the question because it was something she had not thought of and really needed to know the answer for other people who would eventually ask the same question beings they no longer let you through there before the park opens. My question prompted her to call guest services while I was on hold, when she returned to me on the phone, she advised me that bus transportation would be provided for Y&B and BW to the front gate of Epcot during the time before the IG opens. We were very glad to here that.

I booked my DH last week and they said we can enter through the IG-- How else can we get there?

We didn't they let you throught the IG?

According to the CM I talked to yesturday, if it's before 9AM the IG we not open to let anyone through even with a conf. #. However, she said they will provide a bus for Y&B and BW before 9AM.

We are doing our first Segway tour in October

I need help with an odd situation. Has anyone put their kids on the 9:30 Pirate cruise and than did the 9:30 Segway? The cm was the one who talked me into this. She had said you can drop the kids off by 9a and run into Epcot , the Yacht club people would hold the kids for the 15 minutes until we get back. We both end at 11:30a , I was thinking of trying to find out if I can leave 15 minutes early, I hate to ask strangers to watch our kids. Any thoughts?? I have done this before and loved it but hubby hasn't. He also wouldn't go by himself.

I was going to plan a segway tour for the family but my son will be a few months shy of the required age--- my ? was how close to they check ages or do they just use the honor system?
