For 2015, I am looking at April 18-24 - Easter is April 5 next year, so this is a couple of weeks after that. I know from the 2015 Spring Break thread that there are still a few schools having Spring Break that late, but they're in the minority.

1) How are the large tour groups in April? I've seen the cheer/dance groups and Quinceanera/"Fifteens" on my February trips and not had a problem with them - but I've been staying at BC and POFQ. For next year I'm looking at staying at POP for the first time and just want to be aware of any large groups that might be there in April.

2) How are the flying insects in April? Going in February, I swear I've hardly seen a bug. When do the lovebugs show up?

Any other encouraging/discouraging words on late April post-Easter are welcome. :)

we are going april 19-26th and have been going in April for years now. Great time!! Hardly noticed any bugs? Not many tour groups either...See some Band groups, and a few field trips mainly in Epcot. Never bothered us. We also have stayed at POP during this time and love it. We will be back at POP for 2015. Weather is awesome, we love Spring in Disney

We are planning on going about the same time you are (we live in New England so our spring break is always the 3rd week of April). We have been that time of year several times and it's always nice. I feel like as long as Easter doesn't coincide with that week you will find low-moderate crowds, but nothing crazy. I've noticed a few tour groups/big groups but not enough to affect our plans. No reports on love bugs either!

Have a wonderful trip! :)

At many schools here in upstate NY, Spring Break is always the third week of April regardless of when Easter falls.

We went in September which is the second half of love bug season. They were definitely noticeable and I recall swatting some when I was at DHS, but they weren't a big nuisance. I wouldn't let it deter you from going then.

We've been in April and have had the best weather during that time too!
