2 questions about Boma

1. Does Boma make a good first night restaurant to dine at? We will be staying at All Star Movies and I thought this might be close
2. Is Boma better at dinner or breakfast?

This is our family favorite. We will be heading there for dinner on our first night. I have to say that both dinner and breakfast are great. But if your up for a little adventure I would definately try dinner. Although at breakfast there are some different and good choices dinner is better. Have a great time!

IMHO it is an awesome first night place to dine....go a little early so you have time to sit out and watch the animals for a while and enjoy the lobby.

Personally we prefer dinner at Boma's....there are so many interesting food choices....it is our favorite WDW buffet. If however you are a group of very non-adventurous eaters then you might prefer to go there for breakfast. We like the breakfast there too....just prefer the dinner because of the wonderful and different choices (the soups are to die for!!)

This would be a wonderful place to eat for your first night! If you arrive early, you can explore around the resort and see all the animals. We would select dinner over breakfast here.

the breakfast is pretty much like all the wdw buffets with only 2or 3 even slightly unusual dishes so we thought the food was good but very disappointed as we expected "exotic" . i'd go for dinner unless you want the "usual"

Be aware that although things look close, they are not necessarily easy to get to.

If you have your own (or a rental) car, it's easy to do.

If you don't have a car, it is not that easy to get from your resort to another.

It can take an hour or more because you may have to go to the TTC and then to AKL. It might be shorter if AK is open and you can go AK to AKL, but I'm not sure.

Whacked is right ,if you have a car use it ,if not you can go to any of the parks lets say animal king. because its closer ,and get on a bus that takes you to AKL.I would NOT use theTTC ,the times we been there we have waited a verrryyy long time ,not good. If you like differnt food it is worth the travel time! Marla

Boma is good on ANY night!!

Don't forget the hidden Mickeys around there and the storyteller out by the firepit.

Boma is wonderful as is the atmosphere of the AKL.
