Completely new to DVC! I’m wondering if any resorts have 2 queen beds in studio rooms instead of a queen bed with pullout couch? Follow up with are the sofa beds comfortable to sleep in for a week?!

Yes OKW is only one with 2 queen beds. RIV will have a queen and a good down queen, just as good as a queen. SSR will get the fold down in the refurb. The fold out sofa bed some say it is OK and some say awful. I have never slept on one. My DD says it is OK.

Oh wow this is so strange to me. I guess it’s something we will get used to..I hope!

This is a timeshare. This is actually quite typical.

Similarly, you won't get daily mouse keeping, fresh towels, coffee, etc. each day without paying extra.

We’ve stayed in a Diamond timeshare one bedroom with two queens in the one bedroom. Is there really a standard for timeshares? We’ve been in another one with real dishes, dishwasher in studio.

It was the hardest thing for us to get used to regarding DVC, the real bed situation and amenities. Obviously, we adjusted.

I did not know that was typical! I’m sure we’ll get used to it but we’re newbies! Lol I am aware of the amenities differences though and I’m excited to try something new!

Having slept on the sofa beds multiple times, I think they are very comfortable and actually prefer them to the beds because they are firmer and the soft beds give me back pain. With that said, I still love sleeping in the beds because there’s just something about hotel beds!
