We are visiting DLP for the 1st time from CA with twin 18 year olds. We'd like to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, but would prefer not to have to get 2 rooms. I've seen descriptions of the standard rooms as both 2 doubles and 2 queens, which makes a difference to us. Help! Thanks.

2 doubles and 2 queens are the same thing. The only other option is 1 Kingsize or to book a family room where you would have 2 doubles and an extra pullout or sofa bed to sleep 1 person.

Thanks! I'm used to double meaning full-size, and queen being larger, but not as large as a king.:)

Ignore that last comment apparently queen is 6 inches wider than double. We've a double at home I can't say I've noticed the beds being bigger at dlp, like you I've seen dlp beds referred to as double and queen, so now I'm confused too :)

I don't think the beds are any bigger than normal double size at DLP, in my experience.

We had double rooms at the Disneyland Hotel and the beds were definitely bigger than the double we've got at home so they must be queens there.

At the Newport Bay we had a king-size in our room but my DDs had a double room and as I don't remember the beds being larger I'm sure they were just doubles.
