2 Private Dining Questions

I'm interested in suprising my mother with a private dining experience and had two questions for all of you disers out there!

1. Does anyone have the phone number for private dining?
2. Do you think it is possible to do for under $200-250?

The phone number(s) will vary depending on where you want your private dining. For example, one number is for the epcot area hotels, while another will be for the GF.

As to your cost range, difficult to answer. How many people are you talking about, and what were you thinking about for food?
My first guess would be if that's the total budget the answer would be no.

If you're staying at a deluxe resort (on property) would room service be an alternative for you?

I was thinking about the GF and we would actually be staying at AKL.
There will be just two of us dining my mother and I As far as the food goes I guess that depends on the menu, but I was thinking some type of appitizer followed by a main course being some type of meat (chicken or steaks possibly) and then dessert. I woluld be able to expand my budget I was just curious about cost I don't want to pay over $400 though.

Given that your 'group' is just the two of you, here's a possibility;
Have a meal (of your choosing) served aboard a float boat (food choices off from any GF menu or selected) ending with watching Wishes. the boat part will run about $120 and proably the food could be done at about the same, or plus a bit.

Not to beat a horse, but, again since there's just the two of you, AKL private dining offers some nice 'packages' which I've enjoyed on several occassions from a balcony overlooking a savannah....here's a link with more on that AKL in room dining

Thanks for the info! What exactly is a float boat? I'm actually leaning towards GF beacuse I wanted to either see Wishes during the dinner or catch it afterwards. Do you have the number for GF private dining? Thanks for the info on AKL if I can't do something with GF private dining I will consider that.

A float boat - some may recognize it as a poontoon boat or 'party' boat, they look similar to this

Private dinning can arrange to have a float pick you up at the GF marina, with boat captain & dinner, you can cruise around the seven seas lagoon/bay lake, then just prior to Wishes, the boat will "park" in a great spot to see the show.



Call the main GF # 407-824-3000, and ask for private dining, explain to them what you'd like to do!
