2 Princesses, a mom and Grumpy-1st Trip Final Thoughts

We had a fun time overall. We just missed you at O'Hanna-ran into Leanne right after. I have really enjoyed your pics on facebook! Are you going to do a TR??

I'm all caught up! That sucks about the plane today, especially because it was only due to the pilot oversleeping. Didn't he know you had to get to WDW!

We ventured out to the bus stop after convincing Cayley that it was not time to get into the bed....Found it 2 buildings down from us. It was close enough for a easy walk but far enough to see the bus you wanted leaving...We waited a few minutes and then were off. Since this was our first bus ride we did not realize that MK was furthest away from the hotel.

I had been texting with Leanne (leamomtoprincesses) all day and it was now after 8p so I kinda figured we would miss the meet. Turns out she was on the "3 hour tour" boat to MK and was also running late.

We made it to MK, did the bag check,scanned our tickets and were cruising (as fast as you could) down Main Street. We have the girl's first reaction to the castle on video-they were excited but not awe struck like I thought they would be.

We get to Aloha Isle a little before 830p and don't see anyone. Darn. I am still texting with Leanne so she comes over from her parade spot to meet us! Yay!! We had been "talking" on the internet and once on the phone so I felt like I already knew her. Her girls were precsious and so excited for the parade. Her hubby Joe also seemed like a nice guy! She had bags of goodies for the girls-thanks again which inclued gummies. Those were eaten right away. We were starving at this point so Jeff went to Pecos Bill's to get us some food. He comes back with food but no drinks. Hmm, saw a cart down the way and got us each a soda and the girls a water.

The parade was amzing. SO fun. And to see it through the girl's eyes-amazing! Here are a couple of pics-my camera battery died early but we do have it on video-have watched it twice since we have been home.

We watched the parade and after since MK was open late for some reason decided to check out some rides. We tagged along with Leanne and family-the girl's were so cute holding hands and walking along-they got along great. We rode on the Magic Carpets, Jungle Cruise, IASM, Carousel, Dumbo and Buzz.

It was on the late side so we entured back to CBR. Girls were excited on the ride back. We made our way to the pirate room and drifted off to sleep. It was a magical first day!

It turned out to be a great evening! Isn't funny how we meet people on the DIS and have instant connections like you've known each other for years?

How cute that the girls became BFF's instantly!

Can't wait for more!

I would have been freaking about the delayed flight! That is one of my fears when flying.

Love the pirate room! What a fun treat to stay in.

I'm glad you loved Spectro, it's my favorite nighttime show/attraction in all of Disney. I adore the music!

Isn't Spectro amazing, one of my favourite WDW "attractions".

We loved it. Jeff got the whole thing on tape and we have watched it twice since our return.

I think I am actually surprised when a plane i son time.. It was fun-the girls really liked it. The music is reat. That and Wishes. Cayley was singing part os Wishes the other day! They were still on Az time so 3 hours earlier-therwise they are early to bed-usually by 8p at the latest...
