2 Princesses, a mom and Grumpy-1st Trip Final Thoughts

I would love to add a day to our passes and go to the Spectro/Wishes meet but we have 5 days left on our non expiring hoppers that we are using. So there is no way to add days . Nothing better than shopping to get you ready for a Disney trip! Looking forward to your Itinerary. We were supposed to go to Sci Fi for Lunch on Tuesday too but now I moved it to Monday when I changed our schedule for the Epcot meet.

Sorry there is no way to add the days I am glad you changed the schedule for the Dis Meet but sad we will not see you there on tues. It does look yyummy!

A few updates

I won an auction for a cute Cinderella dance dress for Cayley-it is not as big and puffy as the one Avery has so I think it will fit in the suitcase. It is also a lighter fabric and has no "itchies" Really cute.

We started buying some pins. I asked hubby to check out a few and before I know it he has already bought some. I am guessing that the ones you wear on your lanyard are the ones you want to trade-right? Guess I need some pin education....

PT is going well, we are venturing to the park in panties today!!

That is exactly how pin trading works!! If you have some you want to wear and not trade you can buy locking backs so they wont get lost also.

Good luck with the PT outting today! Emily wanted to wear her big girl panties out yesterday and she did really well until it was time to #2. She won't #2 on a public potty. I don't know what to do with her, some days she pottys all day long and others, she won't go near the potty. I guess I'll continue to let her go when she wants to, I don't want to force it!

We're doing pin trading too, I still have to pick up some more pins. But i've read up on it, and yes you trade the ones on your lanyards, but you don't HAVE to trade them.

Thats how Cayley was right around 2. She would use it sometimes and not others. I really think you are smart to not force it-especially with #2, I have heard horror stories anout kids holding it and having to go on a laxative...
She tried 2 times at the park and once at school and nada. She then came home and after lunch did both in the potty! I think I need to chill a little and not worry. She tells me when she needs to go-many times she does not need to but hey trying is better than not right? I am proud.

We do the pin trading thing but have bought our pins at WDW. The girls have some they can trade and others that are special and are not to be traded (expensive ones given as gifts). Lindsey loves looking at CM lanyards for new and interesting pins. We started with the princess starter set at Disney. If you can't find what you need online, you can always call the WDW shopping line and they can get them sent to you. I would try online first though-probably cheaper.

If you want a nice place to watch Spectro without the crowds on Main Street, head over to Frontierland...but not too close to Splash Mountain! We always have a nice and not too crowded area!

Wow...I haven't even looked at the calendar for our trip. I am so out of it. I still can't get myself to start packing yet, either. Our house not suitcases.

Your 1st day looks so great. Makes we want to go find out whats going on while we are there and start some kind of a plan!!!

Your first day plan looks great! I really hope we can make it to the Dole Whip meet. I have been to WDW multiple times now and I always tear up when I cross under the sign and when I first step onto Main Street. I also tear up when the girls have a magical moment with a character (like the sweet conversation Ariel and Lindsey had in 07). These are the things that make me come back year after year to spend my hard earned money.

On a side note, a certain package went in the mail today and should be delivered by Saturday. There's a special surprise for a super-cute birthday girl in there in addition to the other goodies we've already discussed. Lindsey thought it was very cool to pass down her dress to another princess-in-training .

Lindsey would love to trade. Maybe Lindsey can show Avery how to ask the CM's and ease her into it the night of the Spectro meet or afternoon of the EPCOT meet if we don't make it to Spectro. Sometimes a big kid showing how it's done makes it easier. Just a thought..no pressure.
