I am going on a large family trip. Both myself and my grandson are eligible for das for very different reasons. Myself, my dh, dd, grandson and sil will be doing various rides and attractions together and with our larger group. My grandson has sensory issues. We are not sure what he will be able to ride but hope das helps. I and the other adults in the group may ride nearly everything. If I put us all on the same das with 2 people listed will that work. For example can we chose something like Peter Pan for my grandson and one of his parents and also choose Big Thunder for me and the other adults in the group? I would guess if we do the das separately nobody in my grandson's group would be able to ride big thunder with me unless he is willing to do it. For any ride we see if he like he may love or it could be a total no. My husband and I want to be available to help them out so we want to do things together.

you can only have one DAS return time at a time. this goes for DAS holder and people you listen you DAS

DAS is for the individual — you cannot have 2 of you “on” the same DAS. If you will be doing different attractions and/or splitting up at any time, I recommend both getting your own DAS. If you will always be together, you could get by with just 1 in the name of the individual who is most likely to ride.

If you get separate DAS, you should be able to link the entire party to both. When all are riding, both will need a Return Time. If splitting up, each non-DAS person can only have 1 Return Time so you’ll need to decide who is riding with whom.

My group of 9 with two DAS holders went in June of 2021. DAS#1 was allowed to have all of the party except DAS#2 listed. DAS#2 was also allowed to have all of the party except DAS#1 listed. However, when making a DAS return time, each DAS person could only pick themselves and 5 other people from their list to actually ride. So if all nine wanted to do the same ride, both DAS holders had to get a return time and then divide the group between them. DAS#1 would get in line with his group and DAS#2 would be right behind with his group. It was a little confusing at first but we quickly got the hang of it. What was nice was that DAS#1 and DAS#2 had different interests and the group was great about splitting up to go with one or the other.

Did each DAS holder have to have their own My Disney Experience App account or could they share 1 account - my daughter has sensory issues and I have other medical issues. We both could likely qualify for DAS - we enjoy riding different rides (I love coasters, she can't handle that) so our family often splits up. BUT we usually have everything linked to MY Disney Experience app. Unsure how to proceed.

We each had our own My Disney Experience accounts and the accounts were linked as friends and family with shared plans. Once you each have a DAS set up, anyone in the planning party should be able to select a ride for each DAS holder and who in the party is going with which DAS holder.

I believe you can share an account if you prefer. A parent with 2 young children would need to have both on the same account. It may actually make it easier to set-up the Advanced Selections if you are both on the same account and together to register by video chat.
