2 Parades MNSSHP

okay are there 2 parades at (we think- I know no official schedule yet) 8:00 and 10:00....trying to decide if my dh and i can go later to party since we're at the cr and no children...(maybe can stay up until 12:00!! )

Yes, the parade runs twice each party night. Last year they were at 8:00p and 10:00p but the time can vary from year to year. In 2004 they were at 8:30p and 10:30p.

8:15pm and 10:30pm. The fireworks will be at 9:30pm with one showing for it.

isn't the second parade usually less crowded?? (never stayed in the park that long)

so we could watch the fireworks and then be in position to watch the parade?? any advice out there ???

I'm thinking that during the last MVMCP the fireworks immediately followed the 1st parade???

Nice in that quite a few people left after the fireworks & it was easier to ride, etc.

Be aware that the Headless Horseman's ride may be only for the first parade of the nite. This has not been confirmed yet. I'm taking in my first party, so will see the first parade to be on the safe side!

This is NOT true. He absolutely has rode for the second parade. I know for a fact he rode during the second parade last year on my party night and in 2004, and also in 2002.

I just don't get how this rumor got started unless its someone who was at a party on a rainy night when he doesn't make the run.

That doesn't mean it is the info is correct. I emailed Deb about that info on her site and all she said was that when she went to her party, the HH didn't ride for the second parade that night. That certainly doesn't mean he never rides for the second parade on other nights.

I saw him last year riding before the second parade. Others have also reported seeing him at the second parade last year as well.

Dh and I might just have to watch the headless horseman at the first parade, leave to ride rides, and then watch the fireworks/parade and see the hh twice ....I am so excited- this is my first time for the mnsshp and the first time it's just me and dh- it's also the first mnsshp (9.15) so I'll be sure to let all know!

Turn your tix over...

they'll have the date & the time printed on the back.

Take a photocopy of back of tix with you, in case they're lost or stolen, they can be replaced @ guest services similar to all tix.
