2 Pack-n-Plays in a cabin - enough room?

My DH and DD twins are planning a stay at the cabins next May. Our DD's will be 27 months at the time. We are just wondering if there will be enough room in the bedroom for 2 pack-n-plays. DH and I have no problem with using the Murphy bed for ourselves and letting the girls have the bedroom. From the pictures I have seen, it looks like it could be a bit of a tight fit.

Thanks in advance! :)

There was some space between the bed and the bunk beds, but I dont think there was enough space for two of them. I think it would be very, very tight with absolutely no walking space. You could put one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen, but I dont think you would want to separate the twins. I also have twins (5 year old boys) and they have always been in the same room. Could a bed rail help instead? The bottom bunk seemed pretty low to the ground. Or you could put BOTH of the pack and plays in the living room (not pull out the murphy bed) and you and DH could have the bed in the bedroom. Both the murphy bed and the other bed were full-size. I think that for sure they both would fit comfortably in the living room, rather than the bedroom. We were just there last week. HTH

I agree with the previous post. If you want to put them both up, you'll probably have to put them in the living room. Other options are to bring a bed rail & put them both in the bottom bunk while you & your dh sleep in the bed. Or use a bed rail & put them both on the double bed, but its a little high. You could even put them both on the murphy bed because its kind of low. You could get a bed rail for one side & just move the couch over a few inches for the other side. By the end of the week my youngest dd slept on the couch next to us in the murphy bed. The curtains in there are really dark so you won't have to worry about them being woken up too early in the morning.

Hope you have fun. You'll love the cabins.

Thanks so much for both of your replies! :) Sounds like we'll try out either the murphy bed or the lower bunk for our girls. By the age of 2 I'm sure they will be fine with it - I kind of keep forgetting that they will be a whole year older then! They might not even want to sleep in a pack-n-play anymore at that point.

Thanks!

You could even put one on the bottom bunk and one in the pack n play. Or you could put one in the double bed and one on the bottom bunk. I think Disney can supply bedrails for you.

The cabins actually have a pack n play there in the closet. One comes with the cabins.

Another thing you can do as it gets closer next year is try them out in a bed & see how they do. If worse comes to worse you could probably drag the mattress from the bottom bunk into the living room so you won't have to worry about them falling out. I'm sure they'll be fine at 27 mos.

Can they share a bed? They could go sideways on the double bed, with a bedrail on the side and the bottom. Disney should have bedrails if you call and ask.

The double bed is in a corner, so if you put them sideways, their heads would be near a wall, one kid would be near a wall, and the other would be next to the bedrail at the foot of the bed.

I don't know if that would work. That's how I fit my kids (3 & 5) on the bed in our popup though

My twins celebrated thier second birthday when staying in the cabins, we topped and tailed them in the bottom bunk, no problem at all, their elder brother slept on the top, the bottom bunk is low to the ground but just as a precaution we put a couple of suitcases alongside, just to 'fence em in'. they had a wonderful time there and although they are now seven they still remember the cabin and the Golf cart of course.
