2 OKW questions

Heading to OKW in a few weeks. Thought this might be the best place to post this. Question 1: Internet access in a 2 BR villa, where are the ports located?? we have 6 adults in the unit and I have heard it's located in the master bedroom which is fine for me but no way I want them sitting in my room why I am trying to sleep. I am and early morning commando disney fan. are there other connections available elsewhere in the unit?

Question 2: What hours do the boat to DTD generally run in May? Do they stop at just 1 place or also at the west side/cirque de soliel area?

We were in a dedicated 2BR and the port we used was in the living room by the end table between the sofa and love seat. I have no idea if there were other ports in our unit. It seems lock off units would have one in the studio portion and one in the 1BR portion.

I am not sure of the DTD boat hours, but I think the boat from OKW only stops at DTD near what used to be Pleasure Island, not at the west side area. We took the boat a few times and never stopped anywhere but OKW and DTD near PI.

There is an Ethernet port in the living room. With 6 adults, I'd consider taking a wireless modem with you if you can. Then multiple guests can use the Internet at the same time from anywhere in the villa. Weeks this on our last visit to OKW and it was very convenient.

thanks everybody. for the internet I have a Linksys G Wireless router that's never been out of the box. Not an IT pro so would that work for wireless access and should I pack it and bring it along?

We were in a 2 bedroom lock off recently.
The connection in the one bedroom part was by the end table in the living room as you mentioned. I looked for any others in the one bedroom part and did not find any in other places.

I know there was a connection in the Studio part of the lock off, but since we were not staying in that part, I didn’t look there.

You are correct that the boat from OKW only stops at the dock near the Irish Pub, in the old Pleasure Island area. I meant to look at the hours, but forgot.

The boat begins running at about 11am and ends service around midnight if I am remembering correctly from our last trip.

Thanks everybody. My favorite part of going to Disney is to check out, no TV or internet. But the 4 20 something with us may feel otherwise
I don't know what I saw that the only connection was in the master bedroom
Yet I am still left planning things

As far as the ferry boat home I just don't want a call a 2 am how do we get back
