2 nights "single" - what is best offsite hotel to relax near WDW

Me (DH) will be temporarily single for two nights waiting for the family to fly down (DW, DS, D?, MIL, DF, DM, DSis, DNiece, DNephew), what would be the best offsite near WDW to relax at?

What are your dates? If they are 8/10 thru October the Courtyard at Marriott is running a $20.03 sale Sun thru Thursday.

Looking purely at the possible hotels, I would put the Gaylord Palms top of the tree by a distance, and then consider the likes of Marriott's Orlando World Center, Caribe Royale Suites, the Marriott Village trio at Lake Buena Vista and possibly even the Sheraton Safari Hotel, in addition to the DD properties. The Summerfield Suites at LBV might be worth looking at, too. You are certainly not short of choice!
