2 Mickey Mint Addicts Do The World (FINALLY COMPLETE!)

what a wonderful report!! tks for sharing it with us all. i do hope you will write another one after your next trip! :)

loved your report - we were there the same time - thanks for sharing your trip!

I just found your TR today. It's 12 degrees and snowing and this was a most enjoyable way to spend my Sunday afternoon. You certainly know how to write well and your sense of humor is great. Thanks again.

Do yourself a favor, go to your local newspaper, take your posts, and tell them to give yoiu a job. You have great talent. If you are not already in school, go. You could be one of the greats. I rarely read trip reports, but I found myself wanting to read more about "the postman" and your adventures. Absolutly awsome.

You hooked me!! Thanks for posting - and I might add you hooked me by including a link to your trip report in your signature - loved a post you made somewhere, noted the trip report link, and here I am!!

and I completely enjoyed myself!! :goodvibes

Great report!! Glad you and the Postman had a wonderful time, and so sorry about your mom. We're huge Eagles fans too. :)

Thanks for such a great trip report. I am unreasonably excited about going back and it's not until August!!

Thanks for the great trip report! It was so entertaining! Oh, and by the way, if the Postman fell asleep in a rocking chair near the fire in AKL...it wasn't roaring forks....that's in WL!

What an entertaining report!

Thanks so much for sharing. Your relationship with the Postman is so very much like mine with my Dad. We also lost my Mom and the bond between he and I just grows and grows. You will always be "Daddy's little girl".... no matter what age. God Bless both of you! :grouphug:

Just wanted to add some more photos (I finally got around to editing all of them - if you’re planning a trip, just know that I took a 512 MB memory stick, and literally ran out of room on the last day, so 512 MB was about right for us for a 6 day/5 night trip). I hope that this trip report might be helpful for some of you who might be planning an upcoming December trip - if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!! And if you'd like to view a larger version of any of the pictures (e.g., the Tree of Life, which I think makes an excellent background picture on my computer), just visit camillatin's Dis Photo Gallery

Magic Kingdom

Is there any image that can top Cinderella’s castle at night?

102151Cnv0004-med.jpg

And look, one of the Spectromagic pics is actually nice! Well, Ursula’s not nice, but you get the idea.
(The rest are indistinguishable blurred streaks of light - you should see my pics of my trip to the Eiffel Tower while it’s lit up at night. It looks like modern art... hey there’s an idea...)

102151Cnv0001-med.jpg

It’s the Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Tree - that would look GREAT in my living room...

Animal Kingdom

102151Cnv0081.jpg

The Jingle Jungle Parade - and its star, Mickey!

102151Cnv0048-med.jpg

And the Tree of Life - how many animals can you find hidden? Every time I look at it, I find a new one!

Disney-MGM Studios

102151Cnv00011-med.jpg

The Osborne lights - not to be missed (and don’t forget to look for the black cat).

102151Cnv0006-med.jpg

More Muppets mayhem...

102151Cnv00041-med.jpg

and a directory, in case you should find yourself at a fork in the road.

Epcot

102151Cnv000211-med.jpg

Illuminations - just beautiful...

102151Cnv0041-med.jpg

The Candlelight Processional - we didn’t go (hence the long-distance shot), but I hear it’s a truly moving experience.

102151Cnv00051-med.jpg

The holifay storyteller from Italy - she’s called La Befana.

102151Cnv0022-med.jpg

And Papa Noel from Canada - gotta love a Santa in flannel!

102151Cnv0025-med.jpg

And it turns out I did dignify the tacky wand with a photo... a breathtaking one, at that.

That’s it for this trip report, but I’m heading back for Halloween (and my birthday)! I bought a new camera (with an optical zoom and more megapixels), so I’ll be sure to post some pics for all my Disbuddies after the trip. Thanks for looking, and as I said, feel free to ask any questions you might have!
