2 Magic Bands-Confused

We recently added an extra nights stay to our week vacation in May, much due to the result of the 24 hour day recently announced. After adding the extra night (which is going to be a non park day and a different resort due to no available rooms at our current resort) I noticed that we all now have two magic bands. I was hoping Disney could have just added our extra reservation to our existing one and put it all on one magic band. So now when I get both magic bands for me and my family, how do I know which one has the park tickets loaded on and which one has just one day of a resort only stay on it? Once I arrive at the beginning of my trip, can I get a cast member at our first report to just add the extra day onto one magic band so we will only have to keep up with one?

Remember, Magic Bands hold nothing. They are simply a means the scanners use of accessing the data on your MDE account. Everything stored in your MDE is accessible on all bands registered to you or anyone on your MDE account

You are free to choose and use EITHER of the MBs for the entire trip, or you can use BOTH sets of them, interchangeably. No other action will be necessary.

Both sets of MB will also be usable on any future WDW trips.
