2 last min questions

1) We have a value 2 bedroom at AKL and I am wondering if we should do online check in if that will help or hurt our chances of not getting a parking lot view. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

2) Is there a king bed in the 1 bedroom portion of the room? And will they be able to put bed rails on that bed for us? Would we request that at check in

1) Online check-in has a few advantages and disadvantages. I doubt it will necessarily help with view, but if they know your approximate arrival time, they do try to have a room ready for you when you arrive. Though it isn't always possible. It also has the advantage of not giving your credit card info to anyone at the front desk. It goes directly into the Disney system. Front desk personnel can see that there is a card on file, but can not see the number. A small, but additional layer of protection against having the card number skimmed in this bad economy.

I actually thoguht there weren't any parking lot views for value, that they were Savannah or Pool type views, as the value designation is because of a smaller room size, not location.

2) I don't know the answer to the bed rail question, but yes, there will be a king in the master bedroom.

I don't know the answer to the first. I usually do on line check in for value villas. I've had savannah view 5 times and pool view twice. I've a 2 bedroom value reserved for next week, and will not do on line check in because I only want my key to have charge privileges. I also have a value studio reserved. I'm hoping at least one of those have a pool or savannah view, but if not, it would be my turn to get the parking lot! There are plenty of very nice places to view the animals. The values are pretty conveniently located for the bus stop, and I'm happy with the point savings.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom. It is a very tight fit between the bed and being able to shut the door. I know that in the VWL, they did have bed rails to put on the bed. It was something that I had noted on my reservation, that we would need bed rails and we did get them. If I wanted bed rails, I would either call MS or Jambo to see if bed rails are available.

I'll be there from the 11 to the 15th. Do we overlap?
