Disney websites have terrible functionality, and it can take ages to change things. The disney movie rewards site has been backfiring on them for nearly a week now, since they made changes. All they can do is offer advice on their facebook page. The disneyworld site has been messing up with saving itineraries for months now, and if you have certain things in your itinerary then it makes it impossible to order one of their customized maps. The hotel availability calendar is off the AP pages of disneyland.com all of a sudden.
Their websites are awful, and any one random CM you get might be telling the Truth, the truth as they Know it, the truth as they want it to be, or just something random to get the guest off the phone so they can go to the bathroom or go home. (sorry albort and glendalais! but you guys don't work the phones so you get a pass, LOL)
It's possible that this is some brand new thing they are doing. But until someone experiences it OR they announce it, most of us who have seen stuff change, seen "broken" websites, and have experienced CMs who are working the phones but have never apparently even *been* to the parks probably won't be planning long trips just for it...
