Yes, the ziploc bags really work. I recommend you get the kind with the zipper-type closure though - so much easier! I don't think my clothes were any more or less wrinkled, although sometimes I'm lazy and just pack my undies and socks this way (in case the bags get searched by TSA). The air in Florida is pretty humid anyway, so I just hang up my clothes when we get there and I rarely have to iron.
My cousin flies all the time and he told me to roll my clothes before putting them in the suitcase. They are less wrinkled and take up a lot less room!

I'm leaving tomorrow for Disney and I packed every single piece of clothing for my daughter (age 2) in ziplock bags!! I put shorts,shirt,socks in a ziplock, squeezed the air out to them and boom done. The warmer clothes sweatshirts, pants etc... I put in a space shaver bag and put that at the bottom of the suitcase!!!
