2 Gallon Ziploc Bags

If you are really concerned about wrinkles, pick up a bottle of wrinkle relaxer. I found the "dollar store brand" works just as well. Your clothes won't look freshly ironed, but they won't be wrinkled either. You could just slip the bottle in one of the ziploc bags if you are worried about leakage.

Since this is the budget board I thought I'd post what I use. I bring an empty spray bottle (dollar store-PLUS is that there are no spills in my suitcase). Fill it with water when you unpack. Decide what you are going to wear the night before and take it out of the drawer. HANG it on a hanger, spritz lightly (you want it to barely be damp) and then smooth out the wrinkles. In the morning it will be dry and wrinkle free. We do this ALL the time and it's especially good for t-shirts and cotton blouses.

we have been packing with ziploc bags for several years. I have never noticed that our clothes were wrinkled when we unpacked them. I just pack everyone an entire outfit in each bag. It makes it easy to get ready in the morning because everyone just grabs a bag out of the drawers. (I never unpacked until we started using the bags now I just give everyone a drawer and put their bags in it) We use the bags to put our dirty clothes in too, so packing up to leave is really easy too!

I've been using the 2 gal bags for several years. I roll our clothes and then put them in the bags and it keeps them neat and wrinkle free. On our trip to Hawaii one of our bags was over weight on the way home and it was easy to just grab a couple of bags from one suitcase and toss them into the case that was underweight. Once we're at our destination I use the bags to sort our clothes and laundry is much easier once we get home!

I packed using the 2 gallon bags for my son when he went to Europe. He said it was great. After wearing the outfit,he made small slits in the bag and then packed the worn outfit back in the same bag.He stored the worn things in a pocket of the suitcase to keep clean and dirty separate. It also helped him to keep track of his clothes-he didn't leave anything at the hotels.

I just bought the 2 1/2 gallon bags also. These seem to work as good as the space saver bags. I use the space saver bags for adult clothes and the 2 1/2 gallon size bag fits 2 outfits for my five year olds very well. I poked a small hole in the bag up near the zipper and maybe this sounds silly, but i sat on the bag to compress the air out of the hole. I packed the clothes as well as I could so they wouldnt wrinkle but if they do I will just iron them if needed. Oh yah, after i compressed the air out of the hole, i taped over the hole to keep air from getting back in when i move the bags around.
