Someone can give you 2 free tickets to any event in the world, but there are 2 rules:

1. It must be an event that can actually happen. Like you can't say I would see a Zeppelin show with John Bonham. Or you can't say a NASCAR event with Dale Earnhardt Sr. racing.....

2. You must take the cash out of your own pocket to get to the event, and have lodgings, if need be.

Where are you going?

If you would have asked this over a month ago...I totally would be going to see Michael Jackson in concert.....

But...today, an event that can actually happen?? umm

I'd say Atlanta (so I'm assured I can get the lodging...lol) and
gonna have to say New Kids on the Block, only because I got grounded from all the concerts as a kid...lol

(really, MJ was the only concert I ever wanted to go to. I'd like to see Cher too. I'm a dork)

I don't know the exact name, but I would go to the rock music festival that is held in Rio.

oh crap...I was thinking 'concert'...

My 2 tickets? Final game of World Series with the Braves Vs whoever :goodvibes

It would be a toss up between the Masters, British Open and the Ryder Cup....

The Oscars. :thumbsup2 I've been to the Emmys, CMAs and ACMs numerous times. I'd like to round out my award show experience.

I would like to see either Phil Collins or U2 anywhere really but somplace in Europe would be best. Or maybe one of those big fund raiser events where all the big names play - similar to Band Aid

DH would see either F1 Grand Prix in Monaco or the Isle of Man motorcylce race

My first reaction was a one of the really big Star Trek Conventions ie California or Great Britain. Or Maybe Comic Con. Boy does that mark me as a Geek or what?popcorn::

Just hoping to see Bon Jovi in Philly next year. Doesn't sound like much, but considering my love for them vs. the outrageous ticket prices....that's my wish. Can I have front row while we're wishing or is that not part of the deal??

I think I would have to with the Oscars.

I'd probably want to see the finals of the ladies figure skating at the 2010 Olympics, and a day of swimming, gymnastics, or track finals at the 2012 Olympics. Or Opening/Closing ceremonies at the Olympics.

We got to go to the USA/Cuba baseball game during the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, and it was really cool. I do regret that we lived so closeby at the time (Birmingham, AL) but didn't go to more of the Atlanta Olympics events. My BFF got to see the ladies' team gymnastics finals (where Kerri Strug won the team gold for the USA ladies). I would have loved to see them, too.
