Hi Everyone! :wave2:

After just finishing up my first attempt at a trip report (link in sig.), I've decided to now tackle the task of doing my first pre-trip report! I met some really nice DISers on my TR, and quite frankly, I miss talking to you all. So I thought I'd create a new report for all of us to hang out on.

As of today, I have our next trip definitely planned: Nov.8-16th, 2008. I also have a trip tentativley planned for Feb.15-20th, 2009 - hence the title: 2 For 1! I'll be filling you all in on both trips!

Now, excuse me, while I post this link in my trip report. When I come back, I will fill you all in on the cast of characters for our Nov. trip and the plans that have been made. I'll also let you in on the surprise I have in store for my daughter regarding the potential Feb.'09 trip.

Cammie~I followed your trip report and I loved it! I was hoping you'd do a pre-trip for your next trip!

I'm in, def. subbing this one!

Ooh - my first subscriber!

Thanks Stephanie! Promise to get more interesting things posted soon!

I was a lurker on your Trip Report and I am really excited for the Pre-Trip Reports!!

Hi Cammie! So glad you are starting a PTR for your upcoming trips. I really enjoyed your last report and reading all about your mother/daughter trip. :goodvibes

Woohoo!! A pre-trip report!!:cool1:

About the time your done with your next mother-daughter trip, I can get started on my pre-trip (a year out seems better don't you think??)

I can't wait to hear your plans. My 12 year old can out eat most everybody on a lunch/dinner buffet but I do hate paying adult prices for her. It is a little consolation that I have to do it in the real world too. :lmao:

I'm in! And just make sure that DD doesn't look over your shoulder THIS time if the Feb trip is going to be a surprise!!! :rotfl2:

Are CFWWs allowed in this thread? Seriously - I had just caught up w/your first one, Kara's, Laura's, and still have Tammie's and Beth's to read!

Love it!

I must say it's because of your Trip report that I changed some of our ADR's...your food descriptions and pics were awesome!

Can't wait to hear more!

i'm here!!! can't wait to meet the cast (again)! well, actually i haven't "met" your other DD so i'm looking forward to getting to know her too! :goodvibes

Hi - glad you've come out of lurkdom (is that a word? ) Thanks for checking in! Hope we'll have fun here.

Hi Theresa! Glad you found me!

I had the opposite problem with my 12 yr.old; up until this year, she ate like a bird! It killed me to pay the adult buffet prices when all she ate was a few chicken nuggets, some broccoli, and a dollop of mac & cheese or mashed potatoes. But this year, I noticed she was loading up her plate more and more, and would have no problem finishing the adult portions at the TS meals we had!

And, I say - start that pre-trip whenever you want. It's never too early to start talking about Disney trips!

You know I secretly want her to find out because I can't stand not talking about it with her!:rolleyes1 No, but seriously, I'm going to try to keep it a secret until, at least, our Nov. trip is done! That's one of the reasons I'm doing this ptr - you guys will be my support group and help keep my mouth shut!

I loved your TR and cant wait for the PTR to start!!

Thanks!:goodvibes I'm glad you followed me over!

Hey woman - that's what happens when you disappear for a few months!;) Just make sure you stick around for awhile.

Oh no - the pressure!:scared: I hope you enjoy your meals as much as we did. I really go into Disney dining with low expectations; I'm just so darn happy to be there, I usually find something to like about any meal. (unless, of course, it makes me sick - and THAT has yet to happen!) There are very few places I WON'T go back to again though - if you have any questions, let me know.

Cammie, you could get Natalie over on the DISign boards to personalize a Disney invitation for DD. It would make a great Christmas present!!!!!

I do the same thing with dining at disney...the only meal we have been underwhelmed at was our lunch at Rose & Crown....it just wasn't very good and we all just felt "off" that entire day (before and after).

Right now my pre-trip would be so boring....I am hoping Cassidy decides early on which college she wants to go to so I know when to have the vacation.

Hey Dawn - glad you came over! And, I can't wait to introduce everyone to my oldest - she's sassy and has got attitude; that's why she's a big Tink fan!:lovestruc

You expect me to keep quiet until Christmas?:scared1:

I'm so excited I've gotten so many readers so far!:cool1:

I promise to get a post up by tomorrow morning with all the info. for our Nov. trip. My oldest has a school musical tonite; and although I've kept her home this past week to recover from surgery, we're going in tonite for the show so she can be a part of it. She goes to a wonderful private program on the campus of Boston College and the staff does such a wonderful job creating "typical" school experiences for the kids.

So.......stay tuned; more to come!:)

Count me in. I enjoyed your Trip Report and can't wait to share in the fun of this Pre-TR

YAY!!! I enjoyed your last TR and am glad to be in on this one. Hmmmm maybe I will do a TR for my trip, we'll see.... I too have that fear of yours (yours is unfounded of course) that nobody will read it, lol.

Yay! You're first pre-trip report! :cool1: I'm subscribing. You are a total Disney pro and I am going to learn from you!

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Alan
