2 DIS users on one computer??

DD14 wants to DIS. When she goes to register, it says, of course that I am already registered. How can we make another user for the boards?

Does it say that someone is already registered at your e-mail address? If so, just have her create an e-mail account, if she doesn't already have one of her own. Then it should work when she registers with the other e-mail address.

Set your cookies to clear when you logout and , in your user cp/edit options area. Then logout. The only place I know you can lotout is on the main board menu, upper right corner. Then she registers and logs in. Make sure she has her cookies and logout set likewise, no to auto login.

When I hit the "register" that you see at the top of the page, it already knows it's me, d.kurz. I exited Internet Explorer and came into the DIS on the main home page and those smart "cookies" recognized ME again. DD does have an e-mail address, though.

I have "no" selected for both use cookies to browse board, AND auto login and it STILL recognizes me!!! I closed IE and surfed in again from the main page and it STILL knows me!!

<font color=navy>This happens to me a lot, too. The only way I know to clear it is to go up on your internet browser menu, click on Tools, then choose Internet options. Click on the button to delete cookies - do this after you log out - then your dd should be able to log in.
