2 Different reservations, same room

Does anyone know if I can make a reservation direct through Disney for part of my stay at DLH and Orbitz for the other part and be able to stay in same room?

I'm trying to take advantage of the 25% visa discount for weekday and Orbitz discount for weekend

I did this on our December trip staying at PPH. I called about a week out from our vacation and asked if they could keep us in the same room. They made a note and said they would try and they did. No guarantees it will work out, but I think they try hard to accommodate this as long as they know about it.

Skip the visa 25% discount and book the whole thing on Orbitz. I just rebooked my summer trip for the Disney general offer of 20% off and applied the Orbitz promo code "takeabreak" for the extra 15% off. This will save you more money & keep you on 1 reservation! (Orbitz was just really slow in getting the general discount out today.)
