2 different pin offers in same day

Sorry, we are a little late posting this as we hadn't checked email in a few days.

Interesting that hubby and I got 2 totally different offers on the same day at 2 different email addresses.

We went to Disney for our honeymoon last year during free dining, stayed at POR, but did not get a bounceback offer while down there.

Thursday, April 30, we each got a pin code offer, but totally different pricing.

One was .... Missing out on this offer is just Goofy. Buy 3 nights free in a 7 day vacation. Purchase 4 night/5 day vacation package which includes accomodations and tickets (no hopper), and get 3 more nights with tickets free. $475 pp at Value Resorts from 10/2/09 to 11/24/09. No pricing for deluxe resort.

Other was ...... same title - Missing out on this offer is just Goofy. Buy 5, Get 2 free for accomodations and tickets (no hopper) plus get a gift card. Value Resort is $538 pp plus a $100 gift card. Or specifically lists Deluxe as only AKL or WL for $1,057 pp plus $200 gift card. same dates 10/2/09 to 11/24/09.

No mention of free dining like some other posters.

I just find it really odd that they would offer us different choices since we are married.

Both say to ask about other resort offers for other lengths of stay, resorts, and travel dates 11/28/09 to 12/17/09, but we can't go then. We would go either late Sept or early Oct.

Plus, no moderate resorts listed, just value or deluxe. We liked POR and would stay there again, but these pins do not appear to be applicable to a moderate.

My DH just asked if it would be better to go down during free dining again and stay at POR. So, yeah, he's willing to go ... I didn't think he would be open to it. But now I have to crunch the #'s all 3 ways. Help!

Which of the 3 offers is the better deal? TIA for your thoughts.

If you call the CM can tell you which one would be better for you for your vacation. I would bet the buy 4 get 3 free would be better, but I haven't run the numbers. If there is availability you should be able to get these at a moderate also.

I read on here that someone had used the second one of your pins at a moderate and got a $150 gift card with that reservation.

Ok, doing simple math for now, ignore the free dining option at this moment -

just looking at these 2 offers for a value resort, here is what I am calculating... if I am doing the math correctly.....

offer #1 - 4/3 deal - $475 x 2 adults = $950

offer #2 - 5/2 deal - $538 x 2 adults = $1076 - $100 gift card = $976 - is this the right way to factor in a gift card?

so the 4/3 deal is better (technically the lower cost option) as it saves $26?
