Pretty sure there is a sticky or something. But I cant find it. If someone could please point the way? I am curious how owning 2 different resorts works. We just purchased so it just a future fyi since I am married to a Disney fanatic. I am sure no one here could relate to that. Lol

You can book either using the points for that resort at 11 months out. You can book either using any of the points at seven months out. If you have different use years, you would need to transfer from one to the other to use both set of points for a single reservation. If you have the same UY for both and they are one master contract, you can use some of the points from each if you like at seven months out.

I have three contracts. Two fall under one master contract and are two different resorts. The other is the same resort as one of the others, but a different UY. At 11 months out, I use the points from my OKW Sept contract to book OKW or the BRV Sept contract to book BRV. I can transfer the Dec OKW to my Sept or the Sept to the Dec if I want to combine the points for one reservation. But you cannot borrow transferred points, only use current year or bank to the next year. So you have to be careful how you book that stay.

Yep. If I have 50 BLT pts and 200 SSR pts and want to book BLT at 11 months out, I can only use pts from the BLT contract. The SSR pts would have to stay on the sideline until 7 months out.

It's not you as the owner that has the home resort priority, it's the points.

So you could use banked BLT pts, current BLT pts, borrowed BLT pts or even BLT pts transferred into your account to book BLT at 11 months out. But only BLT pts will do. (And so on with other home resorts.)

Thanks guys for taking the time to answer me! I appreciate it and both posts were very informative. So thanks again !!
