With some new an exciting things going on at Animal Kingdom and not much going on at Epcot, at which park would you spend a second day? If it helps your decision we are staying at the Polynesian in May.

Thanks!!

EPCOT will always be my choice. AK doesn't really have much I'm interested in, it's more of a once you've seen it there's not much need to go back kind of park.

What would help MORE is knowing how many days you will be at WDW, total, and how many you are spending at the other parks.

Animal Kingdom is easily our favorite & we'd love 2 days there. As of now though, EPCOT really "requires" a second day for our family, where AK does not.

Now with the updates you mentioned, I will have to say that could be a tough choice!

9 days.
1 AK
1 Epcot
2 DHS
4 MK
1 ?????????????

Thanks again

Keep in mind that the exciting new things happening at AK are mostly nighttime activities - so while you'll definitely want to plan a full day and night for AK, the new activities largely are designed to fill in the extended opening hours.

As far as Epcot goes, the answer may depend on what your group is like. If you're a family with teenagers or older, or with youngsters who are interested in science, technology or travel - Epcot will likely be a hit and worthy of more time. Particularly if you plan on enjoying food and beverage in the World Showcase, it's a great park to return to throughout your trip.

If your crew is more youthful and fantasy/princess focused, though, Epcot may not hold as much appeal for a second day...

(Note that you'll also be there during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival - so consider whether that holds interest for your family or not.)

Can you let me know some things you do at Epcot. We were thinking :

Test Track
The Land
Turtle Talk
Pixar Films
Nemo
Possibly Frozen if open
And Meet and greats with Baymax, Joy and Sadness, and whoever else is available.

For the first time we were going to take a nice walk around the worlds.
Also eating at Coral Reef then watching Illuminations.

That doesnt seem like I need 2 days does it?

Great point. We did that before and Kids loved it. I think you just answered my question.

Thanks

The best choices are as varied as the likes and dislikes of the individuals suggesting them. For me, I couldn't imagine taking up two days in DHS....and we love animals, we can sit at a zoo and watch them all day.

If it were me, I'd do 2 AK, 2 Epcot and 1 DHS. But again, that's just our preference.

Ok with the new night time activities would you consider going to AK twice since we have never done these before? This will be our 4th trip to Disney in 5 years so we have seen Illuminations a bunch of times.

For some reason I love Hollywood studios. I love RnR, ToT, and Toy Story. I love to see Fantasmic twice. Our plan is to probably spend one day there and make the 2nd day more of a half day and enjoy the resort since we have never stayed at the Polynesian or any deluxe.

Thanks!

Personally I would do
MK 4
AK 2
Epcot 2
DHS 1

Do you have Hoppers? You could hop to DHS at night again after Epcot or AK.

For us we always do 2 days at epcot with it being flower and garden festival while you are there I would say spend the extra time in epcot

Epcot is a two day or more park for us. With you staying at Poly and having the monorail, I would for sure pick Epcot.

This really depends on ages of children and their interests. For us it would be two days of AK, hands down.

If we had 9 days we would do:

3 MK
3 AK
1 EP
1 HS
1 BB (or do a second day of Epcot)

If i

We do just about everything, save for Mission Space. World Showcase seems to take us longer than one would think.

Epcot for sure. To me, it's the park to go to when you don't know where to go. :)
