Went on a cruise and then 2 days at BLT before we had to get home in time for summer school.

2 days is not enough! Kids told me "Next time, let's skip the cruise and spend more time at WDW" I created Disney monsters :)

Our usual WDW visit is about 10 -12 days and then we are okay till our next yearly trip.

But now I found myself on the boards more again, reading the posts, trying to see if we can possibly fit in a December trip, etc.

So wish we lived closer to WDW but at least we are staying at Aulani in September. Will see if that helps to "quench" the Disney need :)

Wow! I'll bet it was hard to leave BLT! Here's hoping that you can get back soon. Meanwhile, just know that I sure wish we could be in Aulani this September!

I just completed a 4 day trip and also felt like it was WAY too short. Now the fact that you live in the one place on earth that I love even more than WDW makes it hard to sympathize too much ;) Enjoy Aulani and please post some photos when you stay there in September!

It's always tough to have only a few days at WDW, but a cruise is a lot of fun as well!

Maybe the fact that we went on Royal Caribbean this time instead of a Disney cruise added to the feeling that we didn't get enough Disney.

I look forward to seeing how Aulani compares to the other DVC resorts.

I agree, that's not enough time at all. I'm so jealous of where you live too! I live in the mountains of WV, want to switch?

I think you're right! I sure hope so. After our family's 5 night DCL cruise we only will be able to stay 2 nights at WDW, DH is out of vacation days, the DGC will be back in school, so a longer WDW stay isn't possible,

I can't wait to read what you think of Aulani...I hope that you really enjoy it!

Yeh we did the same and just began to understand the lay-out and it was over. Have to do four or more.

Yes....2 days didn't allow us those non-park days to just enjoy the resort. Kids would have liked to rent the boats, etc. and we didn't even have time to take advantage of seeing the fireworks. Oh well.....definitely gives us a reason to go back!

DD was watching the Goofy Movie on Disney Channel this morning and I was watching a bit thinking again that I can't wait to go back.

Now I'm even more eager for our Aulani visit.

That means you need to start planning another trip to Disney. And I'm so jealous for that trip to Aulani!

imo anytime @ WDW is better than none;).The mr & I have been known to sneak down for 2 nights (kid-free) when I can find cheap last minute air and have had a wonderful time:goodvibes.

in order to keep other family members happy/not burning out on the mouse, over the years we've expanded activites away from WDW when we visit MCO (cruises, onsite U and other offsite activities in central flordia).

We haven't spent more than 4 or 5 days each trip in the parks for several years and are more than satisfied as we know we'll back @ least once if not twice in any given year.

2 days is not enough, especially when you are use to 10 or 12 days.

On the other hand, 2 days is better than 0 days. Or is it?

This is an interesting question.

The last several trips to WDW, we have stayed longer than a week. It was great not having to rush to see everything, or do everything at one time.

Since you were there anyway, I think it was probably nicer to get your 2 days in (even if it was too short), then just head back home after your cruise.

I can see where the 2 days probably didn't even give you the feeling of being at Disney or on vacation. But I am still leaning towards Some is better than None.

Lets here what others think.
