I'm a huge Disney fan. We've (husband and kids now 16 and 13) been to WDW 4 times. This is the first year to try Universal Orlando and IOA. I've bought 2 day passes. We're not staying in a Universal hotel. We are "commando" Disney vacationers, meaning we definitely do everything we want to do in the time we have. In your expert opinions, can the 2 Universal Parks be done in 2 full days? We are planning on skipping the kiddie stuff like Nick studios and Seuss landing.
Thanks for your help.

When are you going? Generally, two days is enough to see everything. If you have the time, check out the "kiddie" stuff. Lots of adults have fun in areas like Seuss Landing and Kidzone.

You should be able to see most everything during that time. Follow the rule of go early and hit the popular rides first. Do Back to the Future, Jaws and Men In Black first thing at Universal and Spiderman, Hulk and Dueling Dragons first at IOA. ET also got crowded when we went but Terminator had a large theater so it wasn't so bad. Be prepared to wait a bit at Poseidon's Fury and I'm not real sure about wait times at the water rides. We had good luck catching Earthquake and Twister later in the day with not too much of a wait.

I would also skip Nick Studios but you might want to linger in Seuss Landing a bit if you can. The theming is really cute IMO.
I personally enjoyed the Cat in the Hat ride. :)

Last time I went, the lines skimped out after 5:00 PM.

But staying onsite next time, we'll have a ton of chances to do our favorite rides as often as we like, without restrictions. That is a thing that makes being a Universal guest very special! Otherwise, you may get to do your rides far fewer times.

Thanks for the info. We are going June 3 and 4, a Tuesday and Wednesday. Is it slower during the week than on weekends?

We last did Universal and IOA 2 years ago and only spent 1 day at IOA and didn't manage to get everything done that we wanted - we missed soooo much trying to get all the rides done and didn't manage Spiderman, Hulk or Dr Doom's Fearfall, also Poseidon's fury and Sinbad were closed. We also didn't manage to fit in much shopping (my favourite past-time!!)
We're setting aside 2 days for this park and 2 for Universal so we don't burn ourselves out - but then I've got 3 kids with me!!
