There is a VERY real possibility of DH and I coming sometime in April/May for some continuing education for DH and I have convinced him to stay near Disney so I can take the toddler. She'd be 22 months or so.

What kind of fun stuff would you do? I could be happy just wandering so I don't HAVE to do anything but I'm sure she'll want to see stuff! She wasn't a huge fan of the drops on rides (Peter pan and Pirates she grabbed me any time it dropped a little).

I've taken my niece since she was 18 months or so and she's now just over 2.5yo. There really is so much to do, especially if she's on the tall side (32 in). We do a lot of character meets, watch shows (she loves magical map!) and of course rides. There are plenty without drops, small world, casey jr, canal boats, buzz, nemo, Autopia (if she's 32 in), pooh, etc. She also loves parades and the fireworks. Basically, there is plenty to do, just take it slow and relaxed and you'll have a great time!

A toddler can actually go on so many rides. The list of rides they can't go on is actually shorter, I think. None of the dark rides really have any drops. Nor do Small World, Casey Jr., Storybook Canal, Tea Cups. Plus there's a Bug's Land over at DCA.

Oh yeah, there's tons the 2 yo will be able to do. Probably less than a dozen things she won't be able to do. That will be a blast.

I will say I was cracking up at your thread title, because my first response before I read your post, but was just answering your title was, "Um...shoot myself?" But of course you meant my OWN 2 yo, and surely I loved them, so I'm positive we'd have had a great time doing walk throughs, seeing shows, and when she fell asleep in the stroller I'd shop Main Street and then we'd explore some fun areas and meet as many characters as possible, and we'd look at all the different colors of flowers, etc.

Have fun!

As others have said, there are lots of things that you can do with an almost two year old at DLR. Lots of rides, lots of shows, and lots of characters to meet; enough activities that you could easily fill up two days without difficulty.

Don't forgot the baby centers in both parks. They have padded changing tables and a calm atmosphere that was great. There is also a training potty there (if you're working on potty training).

I would probably opt to take it slow. Have a rough plan on where you want to start, but don't plan out the entire day. Maybe start in Fantasyland and see which ride(s) capture her attention and go from there.
