I am trying to help my brother and SIL out with their upcoming short trip to Disney

They are looking for a value resort --which would you recommend?
One that is easiest to get to the kingdom by bus--meaning not a million bus stops at the resort etc---

and they only want to go to the Magic Kingdom for 2 days since the girls are only 3 --which 2 days of the week are best

They are pretty flexible as they will be in FL for 10 days-- they are looking at the end of Oct--somewhere around the 20th or so

As far the the Kingdom goes--how should they go about planning their 2 days so that they dont wear the kids out---

and are individual day tickets the only way to go?

and my last question--the girls just turned 3-- and they are small for their age--could they get away with carrying them in and not paying for tickets? how does that work?

Thanks in advance for the help

I am happily planning our trip for May!!!! with my other brother, SIL, 2 nieces, my mom and DH, myself and our "future" son--I am due in 5 weeks!!!!

My sister has stayed at All Star Music & loved it. I haven't stayed at a value resort. Not that I am against it, it's great, especially with children, but once I had my children, we bought DVC, so we don't have that option anymore.

I would avoid MK on EE (early entry) days. That is when they are the busiest. That is Sunday and Thursday. Any other day should be fine. The crowds shouldn't be too bad anyway, since you are planning October.

I'm sorry I don't have any advice for the tickets. DH usually handles that part!

As far as them being small for 3 years old...not something you want to post on here. I'm sure you had no idea, but there are some really brutal threads about this subject (major debates). Everyone seems to feel differently. The worst that will happen is that they ask the children how old they are, and if they answer 3, you go buy them tickets. That's my opinion.

Good luck with the trip. I'm sure the twins will have a great time!

We have twin boys who were just four the first time we went:)

My best piece of advice for them...take a rest in the afternoons, or go for a relaxing swim. They will NOT see it ALL. So just enjoy their time with their little ones:)

Value resort without lots of bus stops:
POP Century, in one of the preferred buildings.

Tickets...I'll second what Kim said...worst that will happen is that they will be directed to a ticket window:)

MK touring:
Day One:
GET THERE EARLY!!
On an non-EE day, they can be done ALL the Fantasyland rides before 10:30am, some even twice.
Then have an early lunch for 11am or so, head back to the hotle for a nap/swim...back to MK for supper at Liberty Tree Tavern (?if they want:) ) and Spectromagic, followed by Wishes. Pick a spot by the train station, or be prepared to wait a while at the MK for a bus
Day 2:
See the rest of MK. Make a PS at Crystal Palace for a late breakfast 10:20 for Pooh and all the gang, see Share a Dream Come True Parade at t3pm...head back to POP

Just my suggestions!!

Keep posting info, and we'll keep helping!:)

Just a couple things to watch for on an October trip... Which dates are the PGA Golf Tournament? I would expect that will drive up crowds in that MK area.

Also - they have several date for the Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party - if they are interested in doing that they should check for available tickets. If they are not interested they should see about avoiding those dates as I would expect as the day progressed the park will get very crowded and likely close early.
