2 day tickets

my family of 4, (kids are 14 and 10) are going to florida in august. we are planning on stopping in orlando for two days on our way home. we have decided to go to universal studios and have got reservations at the radisson right at the gate.

i was wondering if anyone has any tips for 2 day tickets as far as price deals? they seem extremely pricey and i am confused that the park tix will cost double our room cost! can anyone tell me about discounts or deals that are not shown on the universal page that might help us? or are the prices on the universal page the best we can get?

Check with your local AAA office. The two day ticket lets you into both parks, with front of the line access for a certain number of hours each morning. Have a great trip!
