2 day ticket - upgrading to P2P second day

I have an odd ball question someone has ask me and I'm hoping someone will know the answer.

If you have a 2 day single park admission ticket and you use it as single park the first day - can you upgrade it to a Park to Park on the second day upon entering the park?

If you can, will the upcharge be the difference in the cost of a P2P for 1 day, or would it be the difference in cost of a P2P for a 2 day ticket (even if you only have one day left on the ticket)?

I haven't done it, but given how they do the other upgrades, I would bet that it will be the difference between the ticket you want (2 day park to park) and the ticket you have. So consider adding that option on day 1.
