2 Day Plan: Too Ambitious?

I've never been to Disney World while pressed for time before and would like opinions on what I have planned. I'm moving to Orlando on October 19th and then have a friend coming from Rhode Island to go to Disney on October 24-25th. It's a lot happening all at once for me, and this is basically a once in a lifetime trip for him, so I am working really hard (maybe too hard, seeing as I'm worried about this at 3 am) to try and get the most out of the time we will have.

Without going into too much detail, here's what I'm thinking:

10/24
Rope drop at HS.
Stay there from 9am-12pm.
Go back to my apartment for lunch/get ready for MNSSHP.
4pm-12am MNSSHP.
Get home before 1:30am.

10/25
Rope drop at AK.
Stay there from 9-11am.
Go to Epcot for the rest of day. (10pm-ish.)

I know it doesn't look like a whole lot, and truth be told he's picky about rides and attractions so that's why we won't be spending too much time in HS/AK, but I really do plan to run him all over the place. And we'd be getting MAX 6 hours of sleep each night so I just can't tell if that's too much to ask of him? I know I'm over thinking all of this but I've never felt so much pressure over a trip before. Any opinions and advice would be really appreciated.

I think you might be underestimating how long attractions typically take (even with FP+ reservations). Two hours at AK will net you two, *maybe* three attractions (and you're really not taking into account just how big AK is, so getting from attraction to attraction takes a bit of time).

I would have him look at travel books and mark down what is important to him. DH and I did a weekend last year and we had a great time. We were able to do many of the attractions. We did not do any coasters however.

Hi Missy! I am always careful about posting about other Disney related apps/services that I use but what I do use to set up my plan for the day has never once failed me on travel time or wait time. So that I am not too worried about. Thank you for making sure I was thinking of that, though. I appreciate it!

He is also not a coaster person. That's the difficult part, he's really picky, but wants to leave all of it in my hands and be surprised. I'm stuck between trying to figure out what he will ride and how to get everything done. I wish it didn't feel like pulling teeth trying to get him to answer my questions. I'll suggest the travel book idea to him, thank you!
