2-day park hopper ticket

I assume the 2 day park hopper ticket at DLR is the same as the one at WDW but thought I'd check. If you buy a two day park hopper, once you use it to enter the parks one day, do you have 14 days in which to use the other day on the ticket or it expires?

Or does that 2nd day not expire?

So, if I go to DLR tomorrow on a 2-day park hopper, and then want to use the second day on the ticket in 5 months, I assume I can't do that?

You are correct, it will expire within 14 days.

Here's the wording from Disney.

• The first visit must occur on or before December 31, 2012. Tickets expire 13 days after first use or on January 13, 2013, whichever occurs first.
