I see that Universal is offering a special right now where you can buy on-line the 2-day tickets and you get an additional 3 days of use. Is that something that they always offer? We are going the end of May, should I jump on the offer and buy the tickets now, or will the special still be there if I wait until closer to our trip date to purchase the tickets?

I'm not sure about the timing, but I do know that you can get these same tickets (2 days with three days free) as a buy four get one free if you use any Mastercard. Since we have a family of 5 (and all our kids are over 10), this was the best deal for us, so I went ahead and purchased them for our June trip.

Not sure, but I think it's an on-line special only. I don't think you can get it at the gate.

I think the OP realizes it's online only; he was just asking if how long it would last. I know I just wanted to get them now just in case!

I'm not going until August, but it looked like such a good deal, I've already purchased them. I knew I had to buy them anyway, so why not take advantage of the deal. I opted to pick them up at the kiosk so I don't have to worry about forgetting them or losing them. :sunny:

This deal sounds perfect for my weekend trip in August. Can anyone tell me how much this pay 2 days get 3rd day free pass costs? Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

At the Gate $107.95 + tax
Online Only $99.95 + tax

Its actually buy 2 days and get 3 days free - total of 5 days, which must be used consecutively. Its about $100 per person plust tax. :sunny:

You can just buy the 2 days online and upgrade to the 3rd day free once you get to universal.

The two day non-expiring ticket is different than the 2 days plus 3 days free. If you don't want 5 days, just get the 2 day ticket.

Wow, even better! I'm definitely going to purchase these tickets. Do they offer FL resident or AAA discounts for this deal?

There are no discounts offered on those tickets as they are already highly discounted.

I just purchased today. 2 adults for 5 days with 2 childs tickets free for 5 days.......$212.90. Can't beat that. So 4 people for 5 days (we won't go that long...but still a good deal) for less than $11 per day.

Where can I get this deal? Is it on the UO website?

And you can add a free kids ticket now for every adult ticket. Get them even if you don't need them and make someone in line's day by giving them the free kids ticket!

I went ahead and bought mine for our trip in Oct. 2 adults and 2 kid tickets for $212 and 5 days! Can't get that at Disney!

The free child's ticket is part of a promotional to attract families with young children to try Universal. Gving the ticket away to a family in line who will be purchasing a ticket is not what they had in mind. It seems whenever Universal or Disney come up with a great deal on tickets or meals, someone finds away to scam. I've seen it with adults using the free child's tickets before they were labelled or parents buying the meal deal for one and going back several times to feed the whole family. As long as these practices continue, everyone will lose when they decide to discountinue these great deals.

I bought these tickets last summer. Then, they disappeared for awhile, and now they came back. I don't know how long they will run the special, so grab 'em.....may be offered again, may not! :confused3

I wondered about this great deal too! I think in a couple weeks once my husband recoops from paying taxes will get that deal too! We are going in July. I figure the online deal will be around at least until mid may. (don't know why, but it seemed like Memorial Day could be a cut off point. )

:goodvibes
