Prior years we only had one person in the family qualifying for a DAS. On our upcoming trip we will have 2. Can both get the DAS and both have everyone else in our party of 4 on it?

We don't want to just put everyone on one DAS because the person with the DAS has to ride. There are some where only one will ride and some for the others. Example one does coasters, the other does not, but they do motion simulators and the other does not. Putting everyone on just one then doesn't work.

If you have two people that qualify you can have two DAS. Everyone else can be linked to each one too. :) Have a fun trip!

Sorry, but I believe neurocindy is incorrect. You can have 2 DAS, but everyone else mustpick just one of the DAS to be linked to. Otherwise you could have people with multiple DAS return times, which Disney does not allow. You can put everyone on one DAS or split between the two as you chose, but can only be linked to one

Per the pinned thread:

- a party CAN have more than one DAS if more than one has need for DAS.
ALL members of the group will be linked to both DAS.
Each person can only be active on ONE DAS Return Time at one time.

Yes, exactly, NeuroCindy. You can be linked to more than one DAS, but can only have a return time on one of them at a time. So, for example, if one wants to ride SM and the other Peter Pan, the rest of the group will have to choose which one of those two they will ride (using the DAS return time).

This is correct, now that the DAS is electronically tied to the ticket media/magicband. Yes, each person who needs the DAS may have one, for the very reasons OP states - they may split up and do different things. The whole party will be electronically tied to both. However, at any point each individual may only have 1 active return time. So if the 2 DAS-holders are splitting up to do different attractions, the rest of the party will need to choose with whom they wish to ride.

Enjoy your vacation!

When/How do the other people linked decide which one they want?

When you obtain a return time you tell them who should be included in it. Once someone is included in a return time "booking" they cannot get another one until it is used (or canceled).

If my daughter and I each have a DAS, all four members of our family are on both passes. Then we can either all have a return time together, or she and daddy can have one and my son and I can have a different one, or everyone but me can have a return time on her pass while I go sit in a quiet corner.

Yes this is how it works just so you are only on one return time.
